The  island that i am doing my project on is called Jamaica . Jamaica is one of the most known islands in the Caribbean , this is because of their various cultures and traditional history .Jamaica is an island situated in the north of the Caribbean sea .The capital city is called Kingston . It is one of the most  popular city's in the Caribbean . The language spoken is called Patwa . Six distinct regions in Jamaica are Montego bay ,  Negril , Ocho Rios , Port Antonio , Kingston , south coast . An island of beauty with natural Beauty .  There is a lot of fun attractions and entertainment to do in Jamaica .The independence day is august 6 . Jamaica possesses  a parliamentary democracy . The total population is 2.5 million . Jamaica is approximately 146 miles long , 51 miles long , and has an area of 4411 square miles .  Jamaica has a multi-racial population of approximately 2.5 million . The population contains Africans , East Indians , and Chinese heritage .The currency used in Jamaica is called the Jamaican dollar . Jamaican's have this saying that ''out of many , one people ''. This shows they view themselves as one united nation

Image result for jamaica beachesJamaica gets a lot of of tourist every year and millions of people travel there ever year . A one way ticket to Jamaica would cost approximately 745 dollars per person.  It would be a 2hr and 45 min flight from Atlanta to Jamaica . This package would also cover all hotel and restaurant expenses .  Jamaica is really a place to see , it has beautiful beaches and lakes . You can  travel through flight or boat , you need identification for both . I recommend everyone to to visit this magnificent place

compare and contrast

These two short stories have  many similarities and differences . The stories took place in two completely different settings . Even though they were both in the Caribbean they had different cultures . Both islands were colonized by two different countries and they had different society's because of that the environment in these stories were also different . In '' cotton candy'' the setting is very different . Its in Cuba and there is a revolution going on .  The country is communist and much more strict . Lola a lonely girl who dream about fantasy's all the time . I believed Lola only act needy because she feel that being needy will get her more attention. Actually being needy is not an attractive trait at all and it push it men away from her . Lola mom's  authority over her makes her want try more stuff .
